The class abilities the app prefills for you is at best misinformed and poorly worded, and at worst absolutely wrong. While the app itself can be useful for quickly building a character it is atrocious for new players for one simple reason: it’s information is often wrong. That is the one feature that I would add above all others in this.Ī spell compendium would be cool, picking from spells when you level up like skills or different features for classes, which would also help with the amount of learned spells you actually get and or a way to view each class’ features without leveling a blank character sheet up with that class.Īdditionally, I believe being able to level up in bulk (multiple levels at a time) would be a godsend, especially for those that run oneshots that are at higher levels or homebrew campaigns that get really high above 20 in their levels, but I do love that you can go above 20 to whatever you want. They’re all jumbled up based on when I made them with no option to move them around either. If you’re like me and you are in many campaigns, DM and player, you make a lot of character sheets, and that’s fine… but I honestly hate having to scroll through all of my character sheets on the same scroll page, all of my character sheets for each campaign not all in one section. My one major issue is that there are no character sheet folders. However, I do have a couple problems with it, as good as it is.

I love that it automatically updates with each book release instead of making you pay for it, only making you pay for leveling up mainly, definitely worth the upgrade.Īlso just extremely easy to use and understand how to do stuff.

This app has great customizability and even room for homebrew if you know how the file structure works, I’m working on trying to learn to do that for this app, though it doesn’t tell you in-app from what I see. I’ve been using this app for a couple years now, I’ve made countless character sheets and deleted many over time, I love it.
